Local AnesthesiaThe goal for each administration of local anesthetic is to give a safe, comfortable injection for control of pain during dental care. These videos will demonstrate the anatomy of maxillary and mandibular nerves, preparation of the armamentarium and techniques of local anesthesia blocks. The block injections included in the videos are the Inferior Alveolar, the Anterior Middle Superior Alveolar the Posterior Superior Alveolar, the Nasopalatine, the Greater Palatine, Infraorbital, the Mental or Incisive, the Nasopalatine and the Vazirani Akinosi. There are also demonstrations of the Gow Gates, Long Buccal and infiltration injections. Local anesthesia need not be painful.
